As an appointment-based practice, we ask you to schedule appointments in advance to keep waiting times as short as possible. However, for acute illnesses, you are also welcome without a fixed appointment, provided you contact us in advance during our opening hours. Please understand if waiting times should occur in such cases.
Yes, you can also be treated by us as a general practitioner without a diabetes diagnosis. As a practice also active in general medicine, we treat patients with various health concerns.
Yes, that is possible. Your general practitioner can refer you to us for diabetological treatments and training. For all other medical questions, your general practitioner will continue to be your first contact.
Disease-Management-Programs (DMP) are aimed at individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, CHD, asthma, or COPD. They offer treatment based on the latest scientific findings to improve quality of life, slow down the progression of diseases, and prevent complications. Individuals with statutory health insurance benefit from comprehensive and thorough care. In our practice, we recommend participating in DMPs and would be happy to advise you on this.
Our centrally located practice is situated at Marktplatz in Markt Indersdorf on the 1st floor of a listed building. A stairlift is available, and our staff is happy to assist you. If it is not possible for you to reach the practice, we offer home visits as needed.
For patients who are unable to visit our practice for health reasons, we offer home visits subject to our available capacity. As these visits need to be planned accordingly, we kindly ask you to contact us as early as possible. Whether and when a home visit is possible will be arranged with you individually. We also offer video consultations, allowing patients with acute cold symptoms to rest and avoid physical strain.
If you have symptoms of a cold, we ask you to contact our practice by phone first to discuss further action. If a visit to the practice is necessary, please wear a mouth-nose cover to protect yourself and others.
Although video consultations are practical, they cannot fully replace personal conversation and direct medical examination. Physical examinations and technical diagnostics are often required for comprehensive treatment. Also, personal conversation is better suited for the detailed discussion of laboratory values and complex medical topics.
We do our best to keep your appointment on time. However, thorough and comprehensive care for each patient is our top priority. We also care for patients who present themselves at short notice, which can occasionally lead to additional waiting times. We thank you for your understanding and patience in these situations.
Group training offers the advantage that participants can exchange experiences with each other. This promotes understanding for common successes, wishes, and concerns. Participants can support and motivate each other.
For some supporting documents and forms, the costs are covered neither by health insurance providers nor by public authorities. Processing them requires additional staff time and administrative work, which we therefore have to charge privately. Profiting from this, however, would contradict our commitment to service. That is why we donate 100 percent of all fees collected by our practice for administrative documents to a good cause. Our current donation recipient is WEISSER RING e. V., a non-profit organization supporting victims of crime.
